Guys like Adrian Utley make me smile in a big fucking way...He's one of the founding members of Portishead, produces their records with Geoff Barrow and plays a mean-Morricone styled guitar. When I see stuff like this (or videos like this with guys like Johnny Greenwood or Mark Mothersbaugh) it seems possible that a music synth/gear addict can achieve a lifestyle where geeking out is all you do really.
