Oh Annie...Dear sweet Annie. Look at you; somewhere in a high contrast pre-psychedelic jungle, cute as could possibly be, all hair & teeth for the camera, ready to unleash some of the most infectious stylized French beat-pop this side of Gainsbourgh. Did you ever ride in Godard's convertible? Probably. Those drums really sound sweet with the Beatles guitar and transistor organ. It's like you have the mod beat version of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (channeling "Telstar") backing you. Am I babbling on? Sorry, I just really like your record and think it's adorable.
this one gets a 8 out of 10 on the "Woah, really?" scale...
